How we work, week by week.

Here's what happens between "hello" and your first report.

From hello to signed

  1. 1

    You ask for an audit.

Your website, what you want more of, and which channels you're thinking about. That's the whole form. Nothing secret, no logins.

  2. 2

We send the audit within 5 business days.

A limited review: technical SEO basics, plus ad account and tracking health if you run ads. You get 3 to 5 findings in priority order and the channel we'd start with. If ad accounts are in scope, we'll email you how to give us read-only access. Never a password.

  3. 3

You get a plan and a quote, in writing.

Which plan, the monthly fee, any setup fees, and what isn't included. Ask questions by email or on one call. If the answer is no, that's the end of it. We'll follow up once, not five times.

  4. 4

We sign an agreement and set up.

A short engagement agreement covers scope, fees and notice. You give us access to accounts in your name (or we create new ones in your name). Setup fees are invoiced. Month 1 starts once setup is done.

Month 1

Month 1 starts after setup. Here's the plan; your account may change the order.

Week 0, every channel
  • You grant admin or analyst access (role names vary by platform). Never passwords.
  • We agree what counts as a conversion. A call? A booked job? A form? We write it down.
  • We pick a reporting date. Your report arrives on that day each month.

SEO

  1. Week 1

    Access and crawl

We check Search Console and GA4, crawl the whole site, and record a baseline: pages indexed, issues found, tracking working or not.

  2. Week 2

    The fix list

Technical fixes in priority order, each with an owner. We ship the first batch ourselves or hand it to your developer with notes they can act on.

  3. Week 3

    On-page and content

We edit your priority pages, write two article briefs and send the first draft for your approval.

  4. Week 4

    Publish and report

Approved articles go live. You get the month-1 report and next month's plan.

Local SEO

  1. Week 1

    Profile access and audit

Manager access to your Business Profile. We go through categories, hours, services and attributes, look for duplicate listings, note name/address/phone mismatches, and check whether your business should show its address or a service area.

  2. Week 2

    Clean-up and build

Profile updates, a photo plan, and Q&A built from questions your customers actually ask. On Local Pack we also audit citations and outline your first local page.

  3. Week 3

    Reviews and posting

We set up a review-request workflow. We help you ask every customer for an honest review. No incentives, no gating. Weekly posts get scheduled. On Local Pack: citation fixes and the first local page draft.

  4. Week 4

    Report

Call and map-action reporting is switched on. You get the month-1 report and the plan for month 2.

Google Ads

  1. Week 1

    Account and tracking

We get access to your account, or create a new one in your name. Conversion and call tracking are tested before any money moves. Existing campaigns get audited, and we draft a budget and negative keyword plan.

  2. Week 2

    Build

Campaign structure, keyword themes, ad copy and extensions sent for your approval, plus notes on the landing pages the ads will point to.

  3. Week 3

    Launch and watch

Ads go live after you sign off. We check pacing, disapprovals and search terms daily. Ad approval is up to each platform; we can't promise any ad will be approved.

  4. Week 4

    First tune and report

Search term clean-up, new negatives, the first ad tests. The month-1 report includes a page that shows our fee and your ad spend separately.

Paid social

  1. Week 1

    Accounts and pixels

Business manager in your name, pixel and Conversions API checked, audience inputs gathered. We also check whether your ads fall under a special category. We run campaigns in housing, employment and credit under Meta's special ad category rules, so some targeting isn't available. We don't run political or issue ads.

  2. Week 2

    Creative and structure

A creative brief, first concepts, scripts for any UGC-style videos, campaign structure and ad copy, all sent for approval. Creators we work with disclose that it's an ad.

  3. Week 3

    Launch

Ads launch once you approve them. Each platform reviews ads on its own clock, so the exact day can shift.

  4. Week 4

    Learn and report

A first read on which creative and audiences are pulling their weight. Tired creative gets swapped. You get the month-1 report and the next creative plan.

Bundles

If you take more than one channel, they run in parallel on one timeline. One tracking setup, one combined report, one monthly call. Setup fees per ad account still apply.

What we need from you
  • Admin or analyst access to the accounts above (role names vary by platform).
  • One person who can make decisions and replies within 2 business days.
  • Your logo, brand colors, photos and anything you've already written that we should reuse.
  • A reporting date that suits you.

Who owns what

Your ad accounts, pixels, analytics properties and Business Profile stay in your name. If we part ways, you keep everything.

Yours
  • Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and LinkedIn ad accounts
  • Pixels, Conversions API setup and conversion history
  • GA4 properties and Search Console
  • Your Google Business Profile
  • Ad creative and copy we make for you, once paid
  • Articles and page copy we write, once paid
Ours
  • Our tools and software subscriptions
  • Report templates, checklists and working methods
  • Internal notes

How access works

We ask for admin or analyst access for paid work (role names vary by platform) and read-only access for the audit. You add us as a user from inside each platform. You never send us a password, and we'll never ask for one.

If you leave

Give us 30 days' email notice. Before the end date we hand over a short document: what's running, what's paused, where the tracking lives, what we'd do next. Then we remove our own access. Nothing needs to be transferred back to you, because it was never moved away.

Ad spend is billed by Google, Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn directly to your card. We never hold it and don't mark it up.

Reporting

  • A report every month, on the date we agreed in week 0.
  • What changed and why, in writing. Not a dashboard link with no context.
  • One call a month if you want it. Plenty of people don't, and that's fine.
  • Replies within 1 business day, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00 Eastern Time.

Who does the work

Every account has an account lead. That's your contact. They write your report and they're the person who answers when you email.

Behind them are channel specialists for SEO, Google Ads, paid social and local, and content editors who brief, write and edit articles and page copy.

We don't publish a headcount or a team page. You'll know who handles what from week 0.

Who this isn't for

Better to say it now than three weeks into setup.

No one can guarantee rankings. Google decides. We commit to the work we list and how we report it.

  • You want rankings, leads or a cost per lead promised in advance. No one can guarantee rankings. Google decides. We commit to the work we list and how we report it.
  • Your ad budget is below the suggested minimums ($1,500 a month on Meta or TikTok, $3,000 on LinkedIn).
  • You need political or issue ads.
  • You'd prefer the agency to hold the accounts. We won't.

Start with the audit.

It's free, it's limited, and it tells you where we'd start.
